CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Recently the camp has undergone a refurbishment and is now classified as a 5-star lodge by Botswana Tourism. It has also been awarded a Green + level eco-tourism certificate by Botswana Tourism.
Camp Kuzuma overlooks a permanent waterhole where many animals come to quench their thirst. The camp is located on one of the busiest elephant corridors. The Kazuma Forest Reserve links Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe to the Chobe National Park in Botswana.
An airport transfer from Kasane will take about an hour to reach the camp. Upon arrival, guests will be served lunch and they can settle into their accommodation. Camp Kuzuma has only 5 guest tents. All the tents are connected to the main area by elevated wooden walkways. The lodge aims to preserve all vegetation and animal life by minimizing the ecological impact of the camp. This afternoon guests can join a guided game drive and return to the lodge for dinner.
The camp’s main area is built under a canvas cover and features an open plan bar, lounge and dining area. The main area opens up to a wooden deck with an infinity swimming pool and sunken boma for evening fireside drinks. The main area overlooks a floodlit waterhole where many animals come to quench their thirst.
Included activities while staying at Camp Kuzuma are Morning and afternoon game drives in the Kazuma Reserve; Sunset/night drives; guided walks and bird watching. At an additional charge, guests can enjoy treatments at the onsite spa or go on game drives into the Chobe National Park.
