The Savuti Channel has become the place where animals come to eat on sweet soft grass. The water supply is ideal for thirsty animals and nesting water birds. There is an abundance of activity around the marsh making for excellent game sightings and game drives. The channel has brought new life to the Savuti. Even the odd elephant bull has calmed with the new water supply.
Camp Savuti overlooks the Savuti Channel. Each tent is spacious and privately located on an elevated deck with a view of the waterway. All open vehicle game drives are inclusive during your stay at Camp Savuti. The Lodge is a perfect stop over for mobile safaris and self-drives. You can easily spend two to three days at Camp Savuti.
There is many predators in the Savuti. We recommend that you stay for a minimum of two nights. A Two-night stay is perfect for experiencing the predators of Savuti. The secret in experiencing Savuti is to have patience and time. The marsh and channel allow for spectacular game viewing. By dividing your time between the channel and marsh, you have a good chance to excellent wildlife sightings.
