Okavango Lodge Safari

Okavango Lodge safari explores the waterways of the Okavango River. This is an accommodated mobile safari. Our journey will start in the south of the Okavango Delta at a town called Maun. We make our way along the western part of the Okavango Delta towards the Okavango pan Handle. This is where we meet the main water channel of the Okavango river. Our stay here will take us to the rock art galleries of the San people. A Visit to Tsodilo hills is included during our stay at the Okavango Pan Handle.

Boat trips on the main channel and bird watching trips will be done. We move along the pan handle towards Namibia and explore the Okavango game reserves from here. Our game drives will be along the river front and riverine forest of the Okavango Region. Part of our trip is also to visit the contributory rivers of the Okavango delta.

The Okavango Lodge safari is a value for money safari and is inclusive of all the accommodation, meals, activities and private guide. There are no hidden extras on this safari. A great combination of rivers, wildlife, culture and landscapes.

This safari can start in Maun. We require a minimum of 4 people to secure this safari. However, if you are 4 people you are welcome to select Kasane as your starting point and end in Maun. There are many options to add on to this trip.

Day 1


We will collect you from Maun Airport and transfer to our chosen lodge. You will receive a welcome and a briefing upon your arrival at the Lodge. This afternoon our safari starts with a scenic flight over the Okavango delta for 1: 30. We make use of fixed wings or helicopters – all depends on availability.

Okavango Panhandle

The next days we are locating ourselves at the Okavango Panhandle on the western part of the Okavango. After a road transfer from maun, we will be staying at the panhandle and explore this phenomenal area.
Accommodation. Boat trips, birding and rock art galleries. Mokoro trail and Okavango game drive.

Day 6


We cross through the Caprivi or Zambezi regions. The Okavango is in the west and we travel towards the Kwando river to explore the wildlife and cultures of this region.

Day 7,8,9,10

Chobe – Kasane

We will be staying in Chobe Namibia and Chobe Botswana. Game drives and boat trips along the Chobe National Park. Our last evenings will be in the town of Kasane.

Tour ends after Breakfast.
Transfers to Livingstone, Victoria falls and Kasane Airport is included.
