Chobe Elephant Camp is situated on a rocky ridge overlooking the Chobe River. The lodge offers spectacular views of the floodplains below. They used local Kalahari sand to construct the lodge. This eco-friendly lodge is one of a kind. The sand construction offers excellent insulation. The thickness of the walls provides a calm environment in summer and warmth in the winter, contributing to the old farm-style feel of the camp.
This Eco-lodge has made use of reclaimed wood and recycled materials, which is a significant step towards the sustainability of our Africa. It is situated on the edge of the Chobe National Park, offering some of the best sunset views overlooking the Chobe floodplains. Chobe Elephant Camp can easily be accessed from Namibia, as it is situated about 8 km’s from Ngoma. Or you can access the lodge via transit road from Kasane. The lodge is situated close to the Chobe National Park entrance and is ideal for travellers seeking fewer people and a relaxed environment.

The lodge offers a spacious main area with comfortable couches and a bar, dining area, curio shop and reading corner, that opens up to a boma area. There is a pathway that leads to the swimming pool and viewing deck onto a private waterhole.
Chobe Elephant Camp consist of 18 en-suite rooms with both indoor and outdoor showers. Everything has been designed to take advantage of the spectacular views over the Chobe River. So you can choose to read a book on your private veranda, relax in the lounge, cool off in the pool with an ice-cold drink, and enjoy the beautiful views over the Chobe floodplains.
