Mwandi View Lodge and Campsite is on the western edge of the Chobe National Park and Chobe Wildlife corridor. The lodge and campsites overlook the Chobe River. Mwandi means “the beautiful view” – and what a view it is! This lodge offers the best views over the floodplains of western Chobe.
It is a pleasure to arrive at Mwandi View Lodge after all the dusty campsites along the way. There are nine comfortable Meru safari tents, en-suite bathrooms, and a small self-catering cooking area.
Mwandi also offers excellent grassed campsites with clean and neat shared ablutions. Every site has a power supply and a barbecue braai stand.
Guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals, and drinks served on a deck overlooking the Chobe River. It is not busy on the western edge of Chobe National Park. Mwandi View is the perfect location to base yourself for two or three days.
We can recommend Mwandi View accommodation for the cleanliness, grassed campsites and excellent swimming pool. This is also one of the best sunset locations in the whole region. We also rate their accommodation as value for money.
It is a mere 10 minutes from Chobe National Park’s entry gate, which allows for excellent day trips to the park. You can do a self-drive or choose a guided game drive vehicle to explore the wildlife of the Chobe National Park.
We invite you to book your campsite and tented camp accommodation this season. Plan your visit to Botswana and enjoy the wildness and wildlife of one of Africa’s best adventure destinations.
Enjoy some of the most spectacular sunset views in Botswana.
