Savuti Camp

Savuti Camp

Savuti Camp is within the private Linyanti concession. The lodge overlooks the Savuti channel. With only seven tents Savuti camp is an ideal private and secluded getaway. The tents all have a view overlooking the Savuti channel with the abundance of animals and birds who call the river home. The Savuti Channel has been flowing and fed the Savuti Marsh. The source of life ” water ” provides for excellent wildlife sightings along the channel and marsh areas.

The main lodge area consists of a thatched lounge and dining area with a plunge pool and large viewing area with a fire pit to relax around in the evenings.

Being on a private concession, Savuti Camp guests are privileged to experience game drives without other tourists in the same area. All visitors can enjoy night drives, game walks, boating trips, and fishing. Savuti Camp is outside the Chobe National Park boundary. The Camp offers a tranquil retreat in the harsh Savuti region.

The small size of the lodge is ideal for visitors that seek to relax in the wild. Excellent staff and well-trained guides. Access to the lodge can be by charter plane. Coming from Kasane, it allows for an excellent road trip towards the lodge. Our team recommends a minimum of a two-night stay at Savuti camp. A perfect stay would be three to four nights. Savuti region is known for the congested sandy two track roads.

When doing a self-drive or mobile safari, one needs to have enough time to reach all the places of interest around Savuti. Ancient rock art paintings from the San can is in the nearby hills. Savuti is a great transition from Chobe towards the Moremi and Okavango Delta.
