The Okavango Lodge Safari explores the waterways of the Okavango River. This lodge tour is an accommodated mobile safari. Your journey will start south of the Okavango Delta in a town called Maun. From Maun, our destination after our scenic flight is the Okavango Panhandle. The Pan Handle is where we meet the main channel of the Okavango River. During our stay, we will visit the rock art galleries of the San people. A visit to Tsodilo Hills is an absolute highlight of our stay at the Okavango panhandle. Our focus will be boat trips on the main channel and bird-watching trips. We slowly move along the panhandle towards Namibia and explore the Okavango game reserves from here. Our game drives will be along the riverfront and riverine forest of the Okavango region. Part of your trip is also to visit the contributory rivers of the Okavango Delta.
We have selected a range of lodges and camps along with our safari. These lodges are 2-3 star rated and very well located in pristine areas of our visit. Our accommodation caters for singles as well as couples that are travelling. Family rooms are also available at some of these lodges. The Okavango Lodge Safari includes accommodation, meals, activities, and a private guide. This safari is an excellent combination of rivers, wildlife, culture and landscapes.
