Chobe Safari Lodges are the new collective name for Chobe Bush Lodge and Chobe Safari Lodge.
Chobe Bush Lodge has Luxury Bush Rooms overlooking the Chobe National Park, whilst Chobe Safari Lodge consist of Safari Rooms, River Rooms and Rondavels on the Chobe riverfront. They are ‘sister lodges’ situated within walking distance from each other, and the rooms and packages are common rated.
Chobe Bush Lodge is a ‘boutique lodge’, located next door to Chobe Safari Lodge. Chobe Bush Lodge offers modern, spacious rooms in a tranquil setting. The lodge borders on the Chobe National Park. The entrance gate to Chobe National Park is a short 5-minute drive away, and the boat cruises enter the park directly from the lodge.
The lodge is located a distance away from the Chobe River banks with peaceful views over the bushveld and resident antelope.
Chobe Bush Lodge shares facilities with Chobe Safari Lodge next door. Guests can use the restaurants and bars at both lodges. Activities on offer include boat cruises, game drives, fishing, traditional village tours and day tours to Victoria Falls.
The lodge offers Photographic Boat Safaris with custom-made photographic boats and 360-degree revolving chairs and adjustable gimble rig swivels. Guests need to supply their own camera equipment and memory cards.
Chobe Bush Lodge offers guests a bar and pool area, buffet breakfast and a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Guests can also enjoy drinks and meals at Chobe Safari Lodge.
The lodge is a perfect stay for any safari traveller or visitor in Botswana. It’s a great place to do game drives and boat trips. Chobe Bush Lodge is a sought-after lodge because it is a smaller, more intimate lodge with an excellent location. We recommend that you make your reservations well in advance.
Chobe Bush Lodge offers luxury accommodation only (no camping).
Chobe Bush Lodge has exceeded the standards of Chobe Safari Lodge. It is less busy than the safari lodge and offers a classic bush vibe. Clean lines and beautiful design are evident throughout the lodge. The large spacious rooms add value to your stay here.
*You can exchange The Vic Falls day trip for two other Chobe activities (including park fees) such as a boat cruise, game drive, Namibian village walk, or 2 hours fishing. Surcharge for the guided Vic Falls day trip is USD 100 per person (includes guide, entry fee, lunch, and a return transfer).
