Chobe game drives are the number one way to experience the Kasane and the Chobe National Park.
We have custom built 4×4 safari vehicles. They have open sides which promise exceptional views of the wildlife for the guests. Professional safari guides lead the game drives in the Chobe Park. Their experience and knowledge provide great insight into the animals’ whereabouts and their behavior.
We can’t guarantee specific sightings, but elephants are almost a given, as Chobe has the highest concentration of these fascinating giants in the world! Buffalo, zebra, hyena, giraffe, red lechwe, hippo and crocodiles are often spotted.
The bird life is amazing in Chobe with over 460 species of birds.
If you’re lucky you can see the big cats like lions and leopards. There are cheetahs too, but they’re very elusive and favor the Linyanti region of the park.
There are various options for guests looking for game drives. The standard game drive is a 3-hour drive departing in the early morning or late afternoon from Kasane. We also offer half day and full day trips. A full day excursion is an excellent way to learn about the wildlife and birdlife in Chobe.
You can join an existing scheduled departure or book a specialized trip on request. Bird watchers and photographers are welcome to contact us and schedule a private guided safari in Chobe National Park.
We’ve recently added the 3-hour Impalila Island Village Tour. The island is situated in Namibia and you can see where four countries meet! The guide will show you how the locals live.
Guests also love our multi-day game drives, like the 3-day Chobe Camping Safari. The Chobe National Park offers a variety of animals and birds and no two days are the same.
The local guides are eager to share their experience of the animals, birds and the history of the park with you.
Do I need a VISA?
Some nationalities will need a VISA to enter Botswana and it’s your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct VISA.
What should I bring?
Please bring your passport, of course. Also, walking shoes and clothes in neutral colors as you don’t want to scare away the animals with bright colors. It gets chilly in the mornings and evenings, so you should take a warm sweater or jacket. Binoculars are a good idea. Don’t take valuables that you won’t need.
Can anyone join?
Yes! People of all ages are welcome and you don’t need to be fit to join.
