Kasane – Photographic River Tour
We will meet our adventure travellers and wildlife photographers at 11: 00 am this morning at the Coffee Buzz Cafe, main street Kasane. After a brief introduction and some lunch, we will prepare for the first photographic activity of our safari. This afternoon we will go on a riverboat and explore the Chobe River, wildlife and birdlife. The River Trip is an excellent introduction to test your equipment and familiarise with the area and the surroundings. We recommend that you have a zoom of between 150 – 500mm, the same for the lenses that we will support.
Chobe National Park – Camping in The Park
We depart Kasane after an early morning rise and a healthy Breakfast. Our destination is the Chobe National Park, and we will make our base inside the park for the next four nights. Our base will be an unferenced Tented camp with bedrolls, necessary ablutions and hearty meals prepared on open fires. This is the perfect way to explore and discover the wildlife of Chobe National Park.
Day 4,5 we will head off to a fixed Tented Camp, just outside the park. We will base ourselves outside the park and conduct daily visits inside the park. The floodplains of chobe and lynyanti will be our views and allow for great birding and landscape photography.
