Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is situated on Impalila island, on the Namibian side of the Chobe River. It is very private and tranquil on the island. The rustic look of the lodge provides a great atmosphere of style and comfort.

This more secluded and personalized lodge is an ideal break for families, couples and groups. Children of all ages are allowed at the lodge.

Visitors love the relaxing lounge area, open air dining room, bar, outdoor pool and viewing deck with loungers overlooking the river. The water based safari activities provide an ideal opportunity to visit local villages nearby, making this a unique location. It is perfect for fishing and birders alike.

Ichingo Chobe River Lodge consist of 8 spacious Meru-style safari tents with air-conditioners, nestled underneath ancient trees. All the tents have newly-renovated en-suite bathrooms and private viewing decks overlooking the river. Experience the luxury of a hotel suite with king-size beds, dressing tables and bedside lamps, but with an added romance of sleeping under canvas and a canopy of stars. You feel like you’re genuinely in the African bush with the soothing sound of the river flowing past, hearing fish eagles call in the background.

Ichingo has one family tent. The main tent has an en-suite bathroom, with an adjacent children’s tent that has two bunk beds for up to four children aged 12 and under, plus their own en-suite bathroom.

An exhilarating boat transfer will take you from Kasane immigration to the lodge.
