CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
The lodge runs solely off solar power and every effort is made to keep the lodge as eco-friendly as possible. Ghoha Hills is located about 150 km south-west of Kasane. This makes the lodge a perfect stop over between the Okavango Delta, Moremi and the Chobe National Park.
You can arrange for a small chartered aircraft from Kasane or Maun. Ghoha is also a great stopover option on your mobile or self-drive safari. It is an easy drive from Moremi towards Savuti. Our team recommends a minimum stay of two nights. This will allow you to visit the Savute marsh. The channel is flowing again for the first time since 1982.
It has given Savute the water source that it needs. Animals are not only migrating through this region, but the bird life has been incredible.
Savute is known for large herds of elephants and the large pride of lions. Common predators in Savuti is the lion, leopard, hyena, wild dogs and cheetahs. The watering holes and the Savuti Channel allows for excellent photographic opportunities.
