Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge has magnificent views over the plains below. It is in the Savute region of the Chobe National Park, and this area is exceptional for game viewing. Furthermore, the elevation of the lodge allows for a fantastic panoramic view over the Savuti.
The lodge runs solely off solar power, and every effort is made to keep the lodge as eco-friendly as possible. Room facilities include eco-friendly guest amenities.
Ghoha Hills is about 150 km southwest of Kasane. This makes the lodge a perfect stop-over between the Okavango Delta, Moremi and the Chobe National Park.
Ghoha is also an excellent stop-over option on your mobile or self-drive safari. It is an easy drive from Moremi towards Savuti. You can arrange for a small chartered aircraft from Kasane or Maun.
Our team recommends a minimum stay of two nights. This will allow you to visit the Savute marsh. This channel is flowing again for the first time since 1982. It has given the Savuti region a new burst of life. Animals are migrating through this region, and the birdlife is also incredible.
The Savuti is known for large herds of elephants and the immense pride of lions. Common predators in Savuti are the lion, leopard, hyena, wild dogs and cheetahs. The watering holes and the Savuti Channel allow for excellent photographic opportunities.
